Kilauea Volcano!

Kilauea is an active volcano inside Hawaii Volcanoes National park. It is one of 5 sheild volcanoes that form the Island of Hawaii. It is the youngest and most active of the 5. Eruptions are very common and have been recorded back into early 1800's. The crater of Halema`uma`u is about 3X5 KM wide and has contains a lava-lake. Starting in 1983 there has been an almost continuos series of eruptions from kilauea. These eruptions continue at Pu`u `Ō `ō cinder cone south east of the crater.
